Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website and the Candeia YouTube channels are operated by F C Marques, based in Portugal, who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: argusodisseia@gmail.com.

2. This website

  • We do not use cookies.
  • We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or fingerprinting of any kind.
  • There are no forms, accounts or newsletters, so we do not collect any personal data through this site.
  • Our hosting provider may process technical data (such as IP address and request time) briefly in server logs, strictly to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Embedded YouTube videos

Channel pages embed YouTube players using the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. The player loads lazily and YouTube does not set tracking cookies until you choose to play a video. When you play a video, Google/YouTube may process data about you under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive that data.

3. Our internal publishing tool: “Candeia uploader”

Candeia uploader uses YouTube API Services. It is an internal tool used only by us to upload and schedule videos to YouTube channels that we own and operate.

  • It is used only by us; it is not offered to the public or to other YouTube users.
  • It accesses only the data of our own channels needed for publishing: channel identity, video uploads, thumbnails and video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags and scheduling).
  • It does not access, collect, store or share any data about viewers or other YouTube users.
  • Authorisation tokens are stored only on our own computer and are never shared, sold or transferred to anyone.
  • Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

By using YouTube, you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data retention

We do not collect personal data through this website, so there is nothing to retain. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to reply and handle your request (for example a correction), and then delete it, normally within 12 months. Candeia uploader tokens are kept only while the tool is in use and are deleted when access is revoked.

5. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to rectify inaccurate data;
  • ask us to erase your data;
  • object to or restrict processing, and request data portability where applicable;
  • lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

6. Children

Our content is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
